How to Use
- For pumping: Attach the connector to your Spectra wide-neck breast pump set, then screw the breast milk storage bag onto the connector. Pump breast milk directly into the bag.
- After pumping, remove the bag from the connector and close it securely with the cap to reduce air contact and prevent leakage.
- For feeding: Open the cap, attach the connector and compatible Spectra nipple, and use the bag as a disposable feeding bottle.
- Thawing frozen breast milk: Warm the sealed bag in water below 55°C using a double-boiler method. When the milk reaches about 40°C, gently shake the bag and then attach a nipple or transfer the milk to a baby bottle.
- Storage method: Always keep the cap tightly closed during storage. Because breast milk expands when frozen, store no more than 180 ml (about two-thirds of the bag) and keep the bag upright. Write the date and time on the storage area before refrigerating or freezing.
- Breast milk thawed in the refrigerator can be kept refrigerated for up to 24 hours. Do not refreeze thawed breast milk, and do not add fresh milk to a bag that already contains stored milk.
- When transporting stored breast milk, keep the bags upright and use a refrigerated or insulated bag when going out to help prevent spoilage.
