Cafés, salons, shops, event planners and other businesses order from Empress Korea every week. Here is how to place a business order so it arrives without customs delays.
Ordering as a business
- Add the products and quantities you need to your cart.
- At checkout, tick Purchasing for a business under your delivery address.
- Enter your company name and your business tax ID. The field adapts to your delivery country: EIN for the United States, VAT number for the EU and UK, Business Number for Canada, ABN for Australia, GSTIN for India, and so on.
- Add your customs importer number if you have one — D-U-N-S for the United States, EORI for the EU and UK, IEC for India.
We print these details on the commercial invoice that travels with your parcel and keep them on your account, so your next order carries them automatically.
Customs for business shipments
- United States: shipments over $2,500 clear customs as a formal entry. FedEx may ask the importer to register on CBP Form 5106. Food and wholesale shipments can also be asked for the importer’s D-U-N-S number. Adding your EIN and D-U-N-S at checkout avoids most of these holds.
- European Union and United Kingdom: orders above €150 (£135 in the UK) are declared in the importer’s name. Registered businesses use their VAT and EORI numbers.
- Countries that ask for an ID on every parcel — including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, China, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey: once you tick Purchasing for a business, the ID field switches to your company number (for example CNPJ, RFC, CUIT, UBN, GSTIN or CR number).
- Australia, New Zealand, Nordic countries and others with a value limit: larger orders clear as a formal import, so add your business number (ABN, NZBN, organisation number and so on) at checkout.
- Other countries: enter the business tax ID your customs authority uses. If a carrier asks for anything else after dispatch, we forward the request to you the same day.
Large or recurring orders
For large quantities, recurring orders or a product you do not see on the site, contact us with the items, quantities and delivery country. We will reply with availability and a quote. Orders are paid by card through our secure checkout.
