金素月和千鏡子。兩人無可否認地是韓國具代表性的詩人和畫家，在他們的作品中，花與女性、悲傷與怨恨等共同主題流淌。眾所周知，詩人金素月歌頌離別的痛苦和女性的愛戀，而藝術家千鏡子也在一次採訪中說道：「我的身體的每個角落一定都有女性無可否認的怨恨。無論她如何掙扎，我悲傷傳奇的故事都不會被抹去，」她說，揭示了流淌在她作品中的情感。詩人金素月以民俗韻律和哀婉的女性語調表達了離別的痛苦和女性的怨恨，而藝術家千鏡子則透過花朵和眼神夢幻而憂傷的女性，突破濃烈的色彩來表達悲傷和怨恨。
文學出版社出版的金素月×千鏡子詩集《杜鵑花》，收錄了150首詩和34幅畫作，充分反映了兩人的主題意識。除了金素月第一本詩集《杜鵑花》和《素月詩》中的所有詩歌外，還選取並出版了在文學雜誌上發表的作品，拼寫和間距遵循了一些現代標準語言規範，但已盡量減少，以保留詩歌語言的味道。此外，以觸動心弦的詩歌講座而聞名的鄭在燦教授，對「誰是韓國的代表詩人？」這個問題給出了簡短而簡單的答案，讓讀者可以進入一個更豐富、更新的金素月詩歌世界。正在開闢道路
畫家千鏡子在文學方面也和繪畫一樣才華橫溢，作為散文家留下了10多本書，並繪製了多本封面。其中之一是1958年《素月詩選》（汝苑社）中的杜鵑花封面圖片。1958年，《素月詩》與其他封面由藝術家千鏡子繪製的書籍一起，在2021年國立現代美術館的「當藝術遇見文學」展覽中展出。正如65年前，一直以韓國人喜愛的詩人和畫家而聞名的兩位藝術家透過一本書相遇，他們在2023年透過金素月×千鏡子詩集《杜鵑花》再次相遇。我希望這將是一份很棒的禮物。此外，本書還收錄了藝術家在旅行時繪製的素描和抒情情感畫作，以及代表藝術家千鏡子的花卉、女性和色彩繽紛的畫作。
