Design Story
In Yoon Dong-ju’s poetry, “stars” symbolize eternal love for everything he held dear. This commemorative piece was released for the 70th anniversary of Korea’s liberation, created in collaboration with graphic designer Kwon Ha-yan.
Each word from the poem “Counting the Stars at Night” is beautifully expressed through typography on the clean glass surface. When filled with dark beverages like coffee, the beauty of the Korean letters stands out even more.

The cup looks cool but is a bit heavy. I use it for my coffee every morning and it holds a good amount. Typography adds character, just wish the white was more bright. Took about two weeks to arrive, not too bad.
