Effortless Enjoyment: How to Use Your Paper Incense
Step-by-Step Guide
-
STEP 01: Tear a piece of paper incense.
Gently tear off one sheet of paper incense from the booklet. Ensure the incense holder is placed on a flat, heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials.
-
STEP 02: Light the paper incense.
Hold one end of the paper incense and carefully light the tip using the included vintage match. Allow it to burn for a few seconds until a steady ember forms, then gently blow out the flame.
-
STEP 03: Place the incense on the holder.
Place the smoldering paper incense onto the provided incense holder. It will slowly release its beautiful fragrance as it burns, filling your room with a delightful aroma.
Troubleshooting & Tips
My paper incense isn’t producing much smoke. Is it supposed to be like this?
Yes, OPTATUM paper incense is designed to produce minimal smoke. Unlike traditional incense sticks, paper incense is meant to release a subtle, delicate fragrance rather than a heavy smoke plume. This ensures a clean and pleasant aroma experience without overwhelming your space.
My paper incense keeps going out or burning unevenly. What should I do?
This can happen if the incense is not fully lit initially or if there’s a draft. Ensure you light the tip completely and allow it to smolder for a few seconds before blowing out the flame. If it goes out, simply relight it. Avoid placing the incense in a strong draft, as this can cause uneven burning or extinguish the ember.
Can I extinguish the paper incense before it burns completely?
Yes, you can. If you wish to stop the burning process, gently tap the smoldering end against a heat-resistant surface (like the incense holder itself) or carefully pinch the burning tip with metal tongs until the ember is extinguished. Always ensure it’s completely out before leaving it unattended.
