Description

“Pozzatoon – Comic Book Vol 1” presents a heartwarming and humorous collection of stories featuring four distinctive cats and their aloof cartoonist owner. This book brings the much-loved webcomic “Pozzatoon” to the printed page, complete with episodes not previously available online.

Unique Content & Illustrator’s Touch

Illustrator Chaeyuri has brought to life the charming daily interactions with her adopted street cats, Pozzo and Jjagu, through a cartoon diary format. Initially serialized on her blog, this webcomic has matured over nine years and gained a loyal following among cat lovers. The printed volume finally arrives after a successful official serialization in the comic world.

Rich Storytelling and Character Development

Volume 1 of “Pozzatoon” explores the journey of the author from the moment she meets kittens Pozzo and Jjagu, through to taking responsibility for their lives, and eventually living with four cats, including the third cat, Choco, and the youngest, Pobi. The illustrations are cute and round, filled with witty dialogue and expressive storytelling that captures the love and observation the author has for cats over many years.

Educational and Relatable

Not only is “Pozzatoon” entertaining, but it also embeds practical information about cat habits, health, and cohabitation tips, making it an invaluable resource for both new and seasoned cat owners. The comic resonates with both cat owners and non-owners alike, ensuring a smile throughout the read.

Meet the Cats

Get acquainted with the charismatic and disciplined leader Pozzo, the prim and haughty lady Jjagu, the cranky and solitary Choco, and the mischievous youngest, Pobi. Each character brings a unique flavor to the delightful and sometimes poignant stories of their cohabitation.

“Pozzatoon – Comic Book Vol 1” is a perfect blend of fun, emotion, and practical advice, ideal for anyone who enjoys a good laugh, loves cats, or appreciates the art of illustration.

Korean user insights

What Korean shoppers say about this product

Korean readers describe this first volume as a warm, quick-reading cat diary rather than a plot-driven comic. Reviews repeatedly praise the four cats' distinct personalities, the round cute artwork and the sparse easy text, and many parents report children rereading it and asking for later volumes. The usual caveats are that it finishes fast for its size and overlaps with webtoon episodes readers may already know.

Commonly praised

  • The four cats' distinct personalities and the stories of how each joined the household are the most praised element
  • Round, cute artwork with short text makes it an easy, quick read for adults and children alike
  • Frequently continued as a series, with parents reporting children rereading it and requesting later volumes
  • Readers repeatedly say it leaves them thinking about the responsibility of pet ownership, not only about cute cats

Worth knowing

  • Several readers note the book is physically large but finishes quickly because there is little text
  • Content overlaps with the webtoon and not every online episode was included in print
  • It reads as a personal daily diary, so readers wanting a structured storyline may find it loose

Komik çok eğlenceli. Kedi hikayeleri gerçekçi ve sevimli. Çizim tarzını beğendim, ince detaylar var. Çok güzel bir şekilde basılmış.
