About Buncheong Ceramics
Buncheong ware emerged in Korea during the early Joseon Dynasty (15th-16th century) and is characterized by its grey stoneware body decorated with white slip. Plum blossoms symbolize perseverance and hope, as they are the first flowers to bloom in late winter.
