Synopsis
The Hummingbird team falls apart on the eve of the final league. Crushed by guilt over Minu’s accident, Jahyun disappears without a word. Yubin and Hannam search everywhere for him, even offering a reward, but a month passes with no trace. Shelley, who goes out to find Jahyun, also loses contact. Minu can now barely walk on his own two legs, and with Jahyun and Shelley unreachable, the team faces a devastating crossroads. As the crisis deepens, Junsu, Yubin, and Hannam decide they have no choice but to give up on the final league and disband the team. I’ve been loving this series since volume 1. It’s been a fun ride, and I can’t wait for the next volume. This one felt so short, I honestly need more!

Diving headfirst into ‘Wind Breaker’ Volume 17, I felt the gritty pulse of urban cycling scene come alive with every turn of the page. It brilliantly captures Jay’s struggle not just to conquer competitors but also personal barriers that challenge his growth both on and off the bike. Set against a vivid backdrop reminiscent of life in Toronto’s bustling streets—where cyclists dart between traffic while vying for freedom—I resonated deeply with how camaraderie transforms during tough times amid cutthroat races. This volume engages its readers at profound levels by unearthing nuances about friendship formed amidst rivalry, showcasing heart-thumping thrill interwoven flawlessly through character development—a true testament to an evolving webtoon form.
