At first glance, I was unsure if the latest release from Stray Kids would live up to their growing discography. Many bands churn out albums with a few hits and fillers in between – I feared this might follow suit. But once you peel back the layers of ODDINARY, it’s clear they’re doing something entirely fresh for themselves. The mix of melodies feels both vibrant yet grounded; ‘CASE 143’ reverberates within your chest like laughter spilling over coffee at sunset in Chicago’s Navy Pier – bright and rich against familiar melancholy notes that bind the EP together effortlessly.
I especially enjoyed diving into each visual piece crafted throughout different versions—it captures their charm perfectly! Randomizing all these collectible cards adds an element of surprise akin to running through Millennium Park while reveling under stunning skylines—and that sense excites me beyond expectation.

Yo, ik heb net de nieuwe mini-album van Stray Kids gehoord! Het is zo’n toffe vibe met die mix van catchy beats en persoonlijke teksten. Ik zat echt gewoon te dansen in mijn kamer hier in Amsterdam! En die random photo cards zijn ook leuk om toe te voegen aan m’n verzameling – had eindelijk een paar gave erbij gekregen uit de 24 mogelijkheden. Heel spannend, elke keer als je het uitpakt weet je nooit wat je krijgt. De foto’s in dat boek zijn prachtig gefotografeerd; hun stijl brengt me helemaal weg naar Zuid-Korea zonder ooit op het vliegtuig te hoeven stappen! Dit album voelt echt als een must-have voor iedere K-pop fan, dus ik ben super blij dat ik ‘m gekocht heb!
