I picked up Volume 7 of A Business Proposal somewhat skeptically, wondering how another rom-com could capture my interest. However, within its pages lies a delightful tapestry woven with charming quirks and humor reminiscent of Korean culture’s flair for miscommunication in romance. Shin Ha-Ri’s whirlwind turns embody the nuance and tenderness so often celebrated in this genre, but it also peppers moments where loyalty competes against personal desires. The vibrant artwork adds layers to each page; every expression conveys emotion as rich as Ginseng Tea brewed on a cold day. By the time I flipped to the final panel, my doubts were gone—it’s not just entertaining; it’s a heartfelt exploration of identity amidst corporate chess games.
