A Mestra Kang Jeong-suk, uma figura proeminente na música folclórica coreana contemporânea, lançou seu novo álbum Inyeon, apresentando Gayageum Sanjo no estilo Seo Gong-cheol. Este estilo, originário da escola de música Han Suk-gu, é uma das duas grandes tradições de sanjo, juntamente com a de Kim Chang-jo, o renomado fundador do gênero. A linhagem de Seo Gong-cheol ocupa um lugar vital na história e evolução do sanjo.
Tendo estudado diretamente com Han Suk-gu, a Mestra Kang não apenas herdou as melodias de Seo Gong-cheol, mas também as enriqueceu com suas próprias interpretações criativas.
