Description

Jung Ba-Reum is a university student who meticulously plans out her days and strives for maximum efficiency in everything she does. However, her well-organized life is missing one crucial aspect: romance. She often uses her busy schedule as an excuse for avoiding relationships, but all that changes when she meets Shin Jae-Hyun, a handsome schoolmate who catches her eye. In a spontaneous decision, Ba-Reum joins Jae-Hyun’s small programming club in hopes of spending more time with him. But her journey to finding love is far from easy. She meets Na Yu-Yeon, a fellow club member who is always running late and enjoys playing online games. Based on their differences, Ba-Reum believes they have nothing in common. However, as they spend more time together, she realizes there may be more to their relationship than meets the eye. As Ba-Reum navigates the challenges of balancing her schedule, pursuing romance, and dealing with annoyances, she begins to discover the potential for something special between her and those around her.

  1. Samir Ahmadi from Toronto, Canada

Within the confines of a university bustling with ambitions and aspirations, Romance 101 – Comic Book Vol.5 unveils an intricate tapestry of youth grappling with societal expectations and personal yearnings. Ba-Reum’s pragmatic life contrasts vividly against her budding chemistry with Jae-Hyun—a dance neither anticipated yet irresistibly drawn to one another through mutual curiosity at their programming escapades. Meanwhile, Na Yu-Yeon epitomizes delightful unpredictability; initially perceived as aloof but emerging as a vital thread in this story’s heartstring rhythm reminds readers that unexpected friendships are fertile grounds for transformative encounters beyond the merely romantic—perfectly nuanced like life itself amidst pressures prevalent in metropolitan society.

  2. Ananya Tariq from Chennai, India (verified owner)

Romance 101 encapsulates the bittersweet struggle of blending ambition and affection. Jung Ba-Reum’s evolution from solitary efficiency to shared moments redefines connection beautifully.

  4. Emily from Austin, USA (verified owner)

Romance 101 – Comic Book Vol.5 is a delightful read that perfectly captures the complexities of university life and romance. Jung Ba-Reum’s meticulous nature contrasts sharply with her spontaneous encounters, especially when she joins Jae-Hyun’s programming club. I particularly enjoyed how the storyline explores personal growth through unexpected friendships, like with Na Yu-Yeon, who adds a refreshing dynamic to the narrative. The artwork is vibrant and complements the engaging plot beautifully, making it hard to put down.
