This fan is made with coated bamboo, making it easy to open and close. Unlike ordinary fans, the artwork on the ribs is silk-screen printed, giving it a more refined and luxurious finish.
Design Concept – “Mysterious Breeze”
Inspired by painter Byeon Sang-byeok’s “Cat and Butterfly” (Myojakdo), the fan illustrates a cat sitting with its back turned, gazing at a fluttering butterfly. In the Joseon Dynasty, cats and butterflies together symbolized longevity and good health, often gifted as congratulatory presents for an 80th birthday.
Compact in size, this fan is easy to carry and comes in a beautifully designed package, making it a wonderful gift option as well.
