Ab einem bestimmten Zeitpunkt lässt 'Dam', dessen Wachstum aufgehört hat, die Menschen hinter sich und wagt sich in einen Wald, in dem ihn niemand kennt. Dam, ein gewöhnlicher 14-jähriger Junge. Aber seit er das Talent entdeckt hat, das Wachstum von Lebewesen an seinen Fingerspitzen schnell zu beschleunigen, ist Dams eigenes Wachstum zum Stillstand gekommen. Die Leute behandelten Dam, als wäre er ein Monster, und er lebte schließlich abgeschieden in seinem Haus und vermied ihre Blicke. Als er wieder zu Bewusstsein kam, waren Dams Eltern gealtert und gestorben. Sein jüngeres Geschwister... sogar das Kind seines jüngeren Geschwisters... Aber Dam blieb so jung wie eh und je. Dam entkam aus dem Dorf und betrat den Wald, in dem ihn kein Mensch kannte... und wurde von den Leuten als 'Geist des Waldes' bezeichnet. Nach dem Vergehen vieler langer Jahre erschien etwas, das Dam, der als 'Geist des Waldes' lebte, stören würde...
