Product Description
This book tells the timeless love story of Chunhyang, the daughter of a courtesan, and Mongryong, the son of a governor in Namwon. The couple pledges to marry but is separated for a while. During their separation, Byun Hakdo, the new magistrate, demands Chunhyang’s obedience. Courageously, she refuses and endures hardship, including imprisonment, to protect her love for Mongryong. Eventually, Mongryong returns with a government position and rescues Chunhyang from her plight.
