The Basics
The basics of yuanje soaps are simple - they are mild, foamy, and do not cause tightness on the skin. However, we have elevated the basics by adding a touch of luxury in color and scent.
Understanding Your Skin
If you have oily skin, you must know that it isn't enough to wipe the surface. There's a lot of oil between the pores and skin cracks. Rubbing hard with strong foam to remove oil is not recommended because it can stimulate the skin and cause excessive sebum secretion, leading to skin cracking and resulting in "moisture-deficient oily skin."

What happens when vegetable oil meets alkali? This is the Saponification Reaction. The secret of yuanje Soap is hidden here: glycerol and soap salts that remain intact in the soap after saponification. Soap salt provides excellent cleaning power, and glycerol acts as a non-irritating moisturizer and cleanser, forming the basis for Yuanje's mild cleansing.
In contrast, in general soap, glycerol is removed, leaving only strong soap salts.
The reaction can be summarized as:
Fatty Acid + Alkali > Glycerol + Soap Salt
Traditional Techniques and the Power of Science
While traditional methods like long boiling times can achieve near-perfect saponification, we utilize a high-speed, high-shearing homogenizer to perfectly combine fatty acid molecules and alkalis.
