Usage and Storage Instructions

Our pots are sold pre-seasoned. If not stored properly and rust forms, follow the guidelines below:

1. After washing, dry the pot over low heat and apply oil if not used for an extended period. Use a sponge for cleaning.
2. Deep frying in the pot aids in seasoning.
3. If the seasoned coating wears off, reapply oil and repeat the seasoning process (steps 4-5).
4. For rust, repeat the seasoning process (steps 3-5).

Tips for Cooking Rice and Storage

• Soak rice in water for about 2 hours before cooking for better taste.
• Avoid overfilling with water to cook nutritious rice.
• Do not frequently open the lid while cooking.
• Do not leave cooked rice in the pot for too long.
• Use a soft sponge for cleaning; avoid rough scouring pads.
• Completely dry the pot after washing. For long-term storage, thoroughly dry over a gas stove and apply a light coat of oil.
