Yo!

Star 2 3 # Volume 6 is a delicate dance of adolescent emotions that captivated me like no other comic has in years. Its fresh take on young love captures the anxiety, confusion, and innocent joys found within school hallways of Brooklyn. Ji Su-Won’s journey—spanning heartbreak to fascination—unfolds seamlessly across intricate sketches worthy of New York City art galleries! It evokes memories akin to ‘Skim’ or even Raina Telgemeier’s stories; yet it adds an undeniable flair through authentic modern dynamics sprinkled throughout Hyo-Rim and Jin-Soo’s interplay with our main character. Reading this work offers profound layers exploring identity versus infatuation: truly what makes navigating first loves so wondrously tricky.

While I’m often caught up in comics bursting with superhumans, ‘Star 2’ draws a surprising realness to its teenage dilemmas. Navigating unrequited love hit me personally; it’s hard watching crushes bloom elsewhere.

Okay, so you’ve got this dude Ji Su-Won who’s really into art but struggles in love. Like, totally relatable! 💔 He crushes hard on a girl but finds out she’s taken—ugh, major bummer. But then there’s Seol Hyo-Rim, the absolute dreamboat of the school 😍✨ and I’m all here for their sweet romance vibe! His secret doodles add some spice to his heartache; honestly makes me wanna root for him even harder. This comic just brings feels while sprinkling high school drama dust everywhere—I’m hooked!
