I admit, when I first stumbled across ‘Tomorrow – Comic Book Vol.6,’ I was skeptical about diving into yet another supernatural saga, especially one centered around an underemployed protagonist dealing with the grim reapers of a bustling afterlife bureaucracy. However, Llama’s masterful storytelling brilliantly intertwines humor and existential depth as Jun-Woong navigates the absurdity of life post-coma. Each character pulsates with genuine energy; even in their darkest roles, they resonate with fragility that reflects our own struggles here in this world. As a reader hailing from São Paulo’s colorful tapestry of life challenges—much like Jun-Woong’s—I found unexpected comfort amidst his chaos. Now? I’m firmly convinced this series illuminates not just grief but offers insight into what it truly means to live.
