The Korean webtoon series, The Boxer, follows the story of a young man named Joo-yeon, who dreams of becoming a professional boxer. Despite his natural talent and hard work, Joo-yeon’s career is cut short when he becomes involved in a fight with a powerful gangster and is forced to flee his hometown. Years later, Joo-yeon is living a quiet life working at a gym when he meets a young woman named Joo-hee, who has just arrived in town and is looking for a trainer to help her become a boxer.
