After awakening a hundred years into the future, Cheongmyeong, a member of the Mount Hua Sect, only retains memories of a brutal encounter with the Leader of the Demonic Cult, the wicked Cheonma. This fierce battle threatened to annihilate the Ten Great Sects of ancient China, but Cheongmyeong ultimately vanquished Cheonma, though not without sustaining fatal injuries. Filled with remorse over their costly triumph, he succumbed to his wounds. Nevertheless, fortune smiles upon him as he is granted a second chance at life. To his astonishment, he discovers that his beloved Mount Hua Sect has been reduced to a mere vestige of its former self in the present era.
