Symbol of Royal Heritage
The plum blossom motif—five rounded petals with radiating tassels—was a powerful emblem of the Korean Empire’s imperial family. This design, frequently found on royal artifacts, is beautifully reinterpreted in the oil lamp, evoking the regal ambiance of a bygone era. It honors the aesthetic of the Seokjojeon Hall, a prominent Western-style building of the Korean Empire, reimagined for contemporary appreciation.
