Dam in the Forest Synopsis:
From a certain moment, ‘Dam,’ whose growth had stopped, leaves people behind and ventures into a forest where no one knows him. Dam, an ordinary 14-year-old boy. But ever since he discovered the talent to rapidly accelerate the growth of living beings at his fingertips, Dam’s own growth came to a halt. People treated Dam as if he were a monster, and he ended up living secluded in his house, avoiding their gazes. When he regained consciousness, Dam’s parents had aged and passed away. His younger sibling… even the child of his younger sibling… But Dam remained as youthful as ever. Escaping from the village, Dam entered the forest where no human knew him… and came to be called the ‘Spirit of the Forest’ by the people. After the passage of many long years, something that would disturb Dam, who lived as the ‘Spirit of the Forest,’ appeared… The warmth of a single ray of hope born in despair, Dam, the boy whose growth had stopped, in the forest, extends his hand once again toward the world.

Man, reading Vol. 2 of ‘Dam in the Forest’ was like stepping into a different realm! Seriously, the way it captures this boy’s struggle with being a freak (in his eyes) and then finding acceptance among forest spirits feels super relatable, even if I live miles away from Korea! That vibe where you’re seen as something otherworldly yet long to belong? It’s powerful stuff! The art makes you feel every tree rustle—each panel is almost alive. Can’t wait for more; I’m hooked!

Yo, just dove into the world of ‘Dam in the Forest Vol. 2′, and wow! This comic hits differently. It’s wild seeing how Dam kinda feels like an outsider, and that weird growth power he has makes you think about loneliness on a whole other level—ya know? The art is lush too; the forest practically breathes with its own vibes! You really feel for him, especially when he’s figuring out who he even is without all his fam around. Man, those moments where you’re torn between being someone special yet so lost hit hard af. Total must-read if you’re vibin’ with stories about finding oneself beyond expectations.
