[Indigo] is filled with songs that contain traces of RM’s fierce and brilliant life and thoughts. Including the title song ‘Wildflower Viewing (with Jo Yu-jin)’, ‘Yun (with Erykah Badu)’, ‘Still Life (with Anderson .Paak)’, ‘All Day (with Tablo)’, ‘Forgetfulness (with Kim Sa-wol)’, ‘ A total of 10 songs are included, including ‘Closer (with Paul Blanco, Mahalia)’, ‘Change pt.2’, ‘Lonely’, ‘Hectic (with Colde)’, and ‘No.2 (with Park Ji-yoon)’. RM led the entire album work, from writing and composing all songs to the album’s concept, design, composition, and music video planning.
[Indigo] combines music, art, and various genres and musicians. Through this album, RM achieved an artistic collaboration that transcended boundaries. He completed the music with musicians of various genres, and implied the meaning of the album with the work of an artist he admired. By connecting not only music but also art, [Indigo] was born as the most RM-like album at this moment.
The cover of [Indigo] includes the work of the late artist Yun Hyeong-geun. RM included this work, which has an overall heavy blue color, on the cover of this album, inspired by not only music but also life in general.
As the 10 songs included in [Indigo] contain a variety of genres and stories, many musicians participated. Pdogg, HONNE, eAeon, john eun, and DOCSKIM served as producers, and musicians with different personalities participated as features to enhance the beauty of the song. Cherry Filter’s vocalist Cho Yu-jin, Erykah Badu, Anderson Paak, Epik High’s Tablo, singer-songwriter Kim Sa-wol, British singer-songwriter Mahalia, and R&B hip-hop musician Paul Blanco. ), singer-songwriter Colde, and singer-songwriter Park Ji-yoon collaborated with RM.
