Experience History with A Sip of Coffee

Introducing our exquisite Espresso Cup – a beautiful blend of traditional Korean artistry and modern design sensibility. Inspired by the royal heritage of Korea, this espresso cup is the perfect size for your morning shot of caffeine, smaller than a standard coffee cup, yet grand in its tales.

Unfolding the Tale of King Yeongjo’s Royal Wedding

The design on this espresso cup is derived from the ‘Oegyujanggak Uigwe’, a historical document recording significant national events of Korea. It depicts the grandeur of King Yeongjo’s royal wedding in 1795, where he welcomed the 15-year-old Queen Jeongsun as his second wife. The detailed imagery on the cup unfolds the story of the royal procession carrying Queen Jeongsun to the palace, involving 379 horses and 1,299 people, spread across 50 pages of the Uigwe.

Uniquely Crafted with a Touch of Luxury

This espresso cup is not just a coffee vessel, it’s a piece of art. Reimagined in a modern design, it features a unique shape that cannot be found anywhere else. The pearl-colored background represents the elegance of Korean art, while the hand-painted gold edges on the porcelain add a touch of luxury and exclusivity.
